Self-explanatory: a folly at Rushton, Northamptonshire, in the care of English Heritage, designed by Sir Thomas Tresham in the 1590s as a symbol of his Roman Catholic faith, on the theme of the Holy Trinity, with the number 3 dominating its construction and decoration. It even has a linguistic dimension: three Latin texts, each 33 letters long, run around the building on each side.
